Amazon A+ content: requirements, module sizes and how to create it

A+ content is the rich block below the fold — branded scenes, comparison charts, a story about the product. It is built from image modules with exact pixel sizes, and that is the part this guide pins down.

What A+ content is and who can publish it

The block itself

A+ lives under «From the brand» / «Product description» on the listing page. Instead of a wall of text the buyer gets banners, image-and-text modules and comparison charts — the closest thing to a landing page Amazon allows.

Who gets access

Brand owners enrolled in Brand Registry (a registered trademark is the ticket in), plus vendors. If you resell someone else's brand, A+ on that listing belongs to the brand owner, not to you.

Why bother

Amazon itself tells sellers that good A+ content increases sales, and it is the only place on the listing to show the brand's own visual story. Basic A+ costs nothing — the real cost is producing the images.

Module image sizes, in pixels

These are the standard-module sizes sellers work with. Upload exactly these dimensions — Amazon scales anything else and the module goes soft. Categories occasionally differ, so glance at Seller Central before a big upload.

What Amazon will reject

A+ goes through review, and most rejections are textual, not visual. The recurring offenders:

Prices and promotions. No «sale», «discount», «free shipping» — anywhere, including inside images.
Unverified superlatives. «Best-seller», «#1», «top rated» — only with third-party proof, and usually not even then.
Contacts and links. No URLs, emails, phone numbers or «visit our site» — Amazon keeps the buyer on Amazon.
Time-sensitive claims. «New for 2026», «limited edition», seasonal wording — the block outlives the season.
Blurry or resized images. Wrong pixel sizes get stretched by the template and read as low quality.
Copy pasted from bullets. Not a rejection, but a waste: A+ should add scenes and story, not repeat the list above the fold.

Where the images come from

The modules are a design template — the hard part is filling them with branded scenes, detail shots and lifestyle frames. Renolvo builds that set from a single product photo: upload one shot, confirm the details, and take the frames in consistent style, sized for the listing and reusable across A+ modules. One finished image starts at $0.54.

Frequently asked questions

Is A+ content free?
Basic A+ content is free for sellers enrolled in Brand Registry. Premium A+ has historically required meeting extra criteria; availability changes, so check your Seller Central account.
Who is allowed to publish A+ content?
Brand owners enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry (and vendors). Resellers of someone else's brand cannot add A+ to that brand's listings.
What image sizes does A+ content use?
Each module has its own size: company logo 600×180 px, image header 970×600 px, four-image modules 220×220 px and so on — the full list is on this page. Upload exact sizes to avoid blur and cropping.
Can I use AI-generated images in A+ content?
Yes — Amazon's rules govern what the image shows (no forbidden claims, readable text, relevant content), not how it was produced. Generated scenes and detail shots are used widely; they still must be truthful about the product.
What is not allowed in A+ text and images?
Prices, promotions and discount language, time-sensitive claims, contact details or links, and unverified superlatives like «best-seller» or «top rated». Keep it about the product itself.
